# zicula-llm-gateway-kit — free sample

Three real files from the full kit, each **trimmed on purpose** — enough to judge
the quality of the code and the plan, not enough to run your cost control on:

- `SAMPLE-PLAYBOOK-14D.md` — Day 1 (deploy clean) and Day 2 (one real app behind
the gateway) of the 14-day playbook, complete. Days 3–14 are listed as titles
only, so you can see the arc of the plan without owning it.
- `SAMPLE-recipes.md` — the OpenAI SDK recipes (Python + Node + streaming usage)
and one copy/paste curl through the deployed gateway, from `recipes/`. The
Anthropic, Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter and Slack-alert recipes are summarized as
titles — they are in the full kit.
- `SAMPLE-gateway-source.md` — an annotated excerpt of `worker/gateway.mjs`:
the file header, the provider route table, and the longest-prefix pricing
function the selftest covers. The full file is 557 lines — dashboard HTML,
budget logic, SSE usage scanning and the retention cron are not in the sample.

Nothing here is a working deploy: no `wrangler.toml.example`, no `schema.sql`,
no `selftest.mjs`, no full worker. That is the point — try the taste, then buy
the meal.

What the full kit adds:

- `worker/gateway.mjs` (557 lines) — the whole product: proxy + usage logger +
zero-JS cost dashboard in one dependency-free file
- `worker/selftest.mjs` — 50-check offline test suite, run before you deploy
- `schema.sql` — the D1 table that is metadata-only by design (no column could
hold a prompt or an answer)
- `wrangler.toml.example` + `config/prices.json` + `config/budgets.example.json`
- All recipes: Anthropic, Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter, custom upstreams, and the
  Slack budget-alert recipe
- The complete 14-day playbook, days 3–14: budgets with teeth, alerting,
the first cost-saving decision, the monthly review loop
- Single-developer commercial license, free updates for v1.x
